How to cook ready-made Chicken Mignons?
Best way to cook mignons are by baking in a pre-heated oven (180ºC or 350F), until the bacon on top is crispy and golden brown and the chicken is cooked through. However, this will depend on how thick your chicken mignons are and how many are in a baking dish. Good quality mignons will have thicker chicken and bacon giving it a moist and tender finish.
Chicken Mignons from Meat At The Mount are always large in size so be sure to take this into consideration. The timings given below are the suggested time and depending on the weight and finish preferences you may want to extend an extra 5-10mins.
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Pop the meat on an oven-proof tray. Once oven is heated bake chicken mignons for 30 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove from oven and allow to stand for a few minutes before serving.
- OPTIONAL: Fry the surface of the mignons to get a crispier outer layer.
- TIP: Use a thermometer and check that core temperature is 75°C.
Note: The bacon in most chicken mignons may cause the chicken to appear pink after cooking. This is a natural occurrence and completely harmless.
