Best Cooked: Pan fry beef rissoles as a burger patty or use for spaghetti meatballs. For slow cooking, Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Pan fry surfaces of the beef rissoles then bake rissoles for 30-45mins.

Baked Italian Beef Rissoles

    Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Combine beef mince, breadcrumbs, basil, parmesan, zest, juice and egg. Shape mixture into 8 beef rissoles. After lightly Coat the rissoles with flour.

    Heat a large frying pan over moderate heat; spray rissoles with oil. Cook rissoles, in batches, 1-2 minutes each side or until seared. Transfer beef rissoles to prepared dish. Pour passata over rissoles. Top with mozzarella.

    Bake 20-25 minutes or until beef rissoles are cooked and cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve with salad.
